Shumberger, by her attorneys, Irwin, McKnight and Hughes, and presents the following Petition for Custody. 1. The petitioner is Melissa M. Shumberger, an adult individual residing at 587 Shumberger Lane, Boiling Springs, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17007. 2. The respondent is Aaron W. Surridge, an adult individual residing at 9 South Market Street, P. O, Box 194, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17055. 3. The parties are the natural parents of one minor child, namely, Alayna M. Shumberger, born May 21, 2001, age one (1) month. 4. Petitioner desires primary physical custody of the child and joint legal custody with periods of visitation to respondent as can be mutually arranged between the parties. 5. The best interest of the child requires that the court grant the petitioner's request as set forth above. WHEREFORE, petitioner respectfully seeks the entry of an Order of Court seeking primary physical custody of the child and joint legal custody with periods of visitation to respondent as can be mutually arranged between the parties.
