MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SEWER CONNECTION
AND NOW, comes Monroe Township, of 1220 Boiling Springs
Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, by and through its Solicitor,
James D. Bogar, Esquire, and files the following municipal claim
against Christopher B. Thomas and Irma B. Thomas, husband and
wife, adult individuals, owning property located at 1361
Zimmerman Road, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 17013. Christopher B.
Thomas and Irma B. Thomas, husband and wife, are the owners of
all that certain lot of ground, including any improvements
thereon, being more fully described as follows:
ALL THOSE TWO CERTAIN LOTS OF LAND, with the improvements
erected, situate in Monroe Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
TRACT NO. 1 BEGINNING at a spike in the center of the public
road running from the York Road to Churchtown, which point
is 100 feet north of land now or formerly of Dr. William
Brod; thence South 59 degrees 30 minutes West, a distance of
150 feet to a stake; thence North 30 degrees 30 minutes
West, a distance of 100 feet to a stake; thence North 59
degrees 30 minutes East, a distance of 150 feet to a spike
in the center of said public road; thence by the center line
of said public road, South 30 degrees 30 minutes East, a
distance of 100 feet to a spike, the place of BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 100 feet in front on said public road and
extending in depth at an even width a distance of 150 feet,
and being improved with a one-story ranch type brink
dwelling house.
TRACT N0. 2 BEGINNING at a spike in the center of the
macadam road leading from Churchtown to the York Road at the
line of Tract No. 1 herein; thence by said Tract No. 1,
South 59 degrees 30 minutes West, 150 feet to a stake;
thence by land now or late of Mervin J. Baer and Fannie E.
Baer, his wife, North 51 degrees 30 minutes West, 37 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence by the same North 30
degrees 30 minutes East, 162 feet, more or less, to a point
in the middle of the aforesaid road; thence in said road
South 74 degrees 30 minutes East, 31.04 feet to a point;
thence in said road South 30 degrees 30 minutes East, 90.4
feet to a spike, the place of BEGINNING. SAID PREMISES
being described according to a survey of W.G. Rechel,
Registered Surveyor, dated October 8, 1958.
BEING the same premises which Wilson P. Hurley and Faye A.
Hurley, husband and wife, and The Homestead Group, Inc., a
Pennsylvania Corporation, by deed dated December 23, 1994,
and recorded February 3, 1995, in the Cumberland County
Recorder of Deeds Office in Deed Book 118, Page 238, granted
and conveyed unto Christopher B. Thomas and Irma B. Thomas,
husband and wife, owners.
Tax Parcel No. 22-10-0640-042
Monroe Township hereby files this Municipal Lien for Sewer
Connection in the amount of $3,000.00, which connection fee has
been duly assessed against Christopher B. Thomas and Irma B.
Thomas, husband and wife, and the real property described herein
from and on May 15, 2001, and for which sum, with interest in the
amount of ten (10$) percent, along with penalties and all costs,
including attorneys' fees, a municipal lien is claimed against
the above-described real property and premises in accordance with

the Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, §7, as amended, 53 P.S. §7101,
et seq, as amended (Municipal Claims and Tax Liens).
