AND NOW, this d~ day of f4."?r , 2002, upon
consideration of the attached Custody Conciliation Report, it is ordered and directed as
follows:
1. The Father, Dennis E. Meyer, and the Mother, Janet M. Meyer, shall have
shared legal custody of Raven A. Meyer and Melissa N. Meyer, born May 12,2000 and
Dakota 1. Meyer, born September 27, 2001. Each parent shall have an equal right, to be
exercised jointly with the other parent, to make all major non-emergency decisions
affecting the Children's general well-being including, but not limited to, all decisions
regarding their health, education and religion.
2. The parties shall have shared physical custody of the children on the
following schedule:
A. Week on/week off with Saturday at 2:00 p.m. being the exchange day and
time. Father's week shall begin May 25,2002.
B. The non-custodial parent shall have physical custody of the children on
Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., except when the custodial parent
is on vacation or otherwise out of the area.
3. The exchange of physical custody shall take place with the "receiving
parent" providing transportation so that the parties have as little contact with each other.

odd numbered years.
D, Easter Sunday shall be alternated between the parties from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. Mother shall have physical custody of the children in even numbered
years; Father shall have physical custody of the children in odd numbered
years.
E. The Christmas holiday shall be divided into two Blocks. Block A shall be
from Christmas Eve at 12:00 noon to Christmas Day at 12:00 noon. Block B
shall be from Christmas Day at 12:00 noon to December 26 at 12:00 noon.
Mother shall have Block A in odd numbered years and Block B in even
numbered years. Father shall have Block A in even numbered years and
Block B in odd numbered years.
5. Neither party shall leave the jurisdiction of Pennsylvania without prior
notification ofthe other party, along with the location, address and telephone number
where the children may be contacted.
6. Neither party shall consume alcoholic beverages to the point of
intoxication or illegal drugs while the children are in their physical custody.
7. Neither party shall do anything, nor permit a third party to do anything
that may estrange the children from the other party, or injure the opinion of the children
as to the other party, or may hamper the free and natural development of the children's
love or affection for the other party.
8. The parties shall keep each other advised immediately relative to any
emergencies, medical or otherwise, concerning the children and shall, further, take any
necessary steps to ensure that the health and well being of the children is protected.
During such illness or medical emergency, each party shall have the right to visit the
children as often as her/she deems consistent with the proper medical care of the children.
9. This Order is entered pursuant to an agreement of the parties at a Custody
Conciliation Conference. The parties may modifY the provisions of this Order by mutual
consent. In the absence of mutual consent, the terms of this Order shall control.

2. A Conciliation Conference was held in this matter on May 21, 2002, with
the following individuals in attendance: The Father, Dennis E. Meyer, with his counsel,
Jennifer Heverly, certified legal intern and Lucy Johnston-Walsh, Esquire, from the
Family Law Clinic and the Mother, Janet M. Meyer, with her counsel, Lisa Marie Coyne,
Esquire.
3. A prior Order of Court, dated November 26, 2001was entered by the
Honorable Edward E. Guido, providing for shared legal and physical custody on a week
on/week offbasis. ,PFA Orders, dated Mar~h 14,2002 and April 29, 2002, are also in
effect by Order of the Honorable C. Joseph Rehkamp, Perry County, Pennsylvania,
restricting Father from contact with Mother except for discussion and transfers regarding
the children. A petition for indirect criminal contempt is currently pending before the
Honorable 1. Wesley Oler, Jr. in the PF A matter.
4. The parties agreed to the entry of an Order in the form as attached.

AND NOW, Tuesday, April 02, 2002 , upon consideration of the attached Complaint,
it is hereby directed that parties and their respective counsel appear before Jacqueline M. Verney, Esq. , the conciliator,
at 4th Floor, Cumherland County Courthouse, Carlisle on Wednesday, May 01, 2002 at 3:30 PM
for a Pre-Hearing Custody Conference. At such conference, an effort will be made to resolve the issues in dispute; or
if this cannot be accomplished, to define and narrow the issues to be heard by the court, and to enter into a temporary
order. All children age five or older may also be present at the conference. Failure to appear at the conference may
provide grounds for entry of a temporary or permanent order.
The court hereby directs the parties to furnish any and all existing Protection from Abuse orders,
Special Relief orders, and Custody orders to the conciliator 48 hours prior to scheduled hearing.

PETITION TO MODIFY CUSTODY ORDER
THE PETITIONER ,Dennis E . Meyer Jr, ,by and through state the following :
I. The Petitioner, hereinafter referred to as the father, is an adult individual
who C\llTCntly resides at 7073 Carlisle Pike , Lot 132 , Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
2 . The Respondent, Janet M, Meyer, hereinafter referred to as the mother,
is an individual who currently resides in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
3 . The parties are the parents of Raven A. Meyer, Melissa N. Meyer and
Dakota J . Meyer.
4 . Both parents have shared custody and shared legal custody entered by this
court on November of2001 .
WHEREFORE, the petitioner, Dennis E . Meyer Jr. , requests that this Court
modify the order of November 2001 , and grant him primary physical custody of the minor
children, Raven A . Meyer, Melissa N . Meyer and Dakota J. Meyer.

AND NOW comes the Petitioner, Dennis E. Meyer, Jr., by his attorneys, Irwin &
McKnight, and presents the following Petition for Modification of Custody.
1.
The Petitioner, Dennis E. Meyer, Jr., is an adult individual with an address of 7073
Carlisle Pike, Lot 132, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.

The Respondent, Janet M. (Meyer) Martyn, 7073 Carlisle Pike, Lot 112, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, 17013.

The parties are the natural parents of three (3) children, namely Raven A. Meyer and
Melissa N. Meyer, born May 12, 2000, and Dakota J. Meyer, born September 27,2001.

The Petitioner desires that the parties have shared legal custody of said minor children.
5.
The Petitioner desires primary physical custody of said minor children, with periods of
temporary physical custody to Respondent as the parties agree is in the best interest of said
children.
6.
The best interests and permanent welfare of the minor children requires that the Court
grant the Petitioner's request as set forth above.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner, Demris E. Meyer, Jr., respectfully requests that he be
awarded primary physical custody and shared legal custody of Raven A. Meyer, Melissa N.
Meyer, and Dakota J. Meyer, as provided herein, with periods of temporary physical custody to
Respondent as provided herein.

1. The Father, Delll1is E. Meyer, and the Mother, Janet M. Meyer, shall have

Dakota J. Meyer, born September 27.2001. Each parent shall have an equal right. to be
exercised jointly with the other parent. to make all major non-emergency decisions
affecting the Children's general well-being including. but not limited to, all decisions
regarding their health, education and religion.
2. The parties shall have shared physical custody of the children on the
following schedule: -
A. Week on/week off with Saturday at 2:00 p.m. being the exchange day and
time, Father's week shall begin May 25, 2002.
B. The non-custodial parent shall have physical custody of the children on
Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m, to 8:00 p.m., except when the custodial parent
is on vacation or otherwise out of the area.

parent" providing transportation so that the parties have as little contact with each other.

D. Easter Sunday shall be alternated between the parties from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. Mother shall have physical custody of the children in even numbered
years; Father shall have physical custody of the children in odd numbered
years.
E. The Christmas holiday shall be divided into two Blocks. Block A shall be
from Christmas Eve at 12:00 noon to Christmas Day at 12:00 noon. Block B
shall be from Christmas Day at 12:00 nool1 to December 26 at 12:00 nool1.
Mother shall have Block A in odd numbered years and Block B in even
mimbered years. Father shall have Block A in even numbered years and
Block B in odd numbered years.
5. Neither party shall leave the jurisdiction of Pennsylvania without prior
notification of the other party, along with the location, address and telephone number
where the children may be contacted.
6. Neither party shall consume alcoholic beverages to the point of
intoxication or illegal drugs while the children are in their physical custody.
7. Neither party shall do anything, nor penn it a third pmiy to do anything
that may estrange the children from the other party, or injure the opinion of the children
as to the other party, or may hamper the free and natural development of the children's
love or affection for the other party.
8. The parties shall keep each other advised immediately relative to any
emergencies, medical or otherwise, concerning the children and shall, further, take <my
necessary steps to ensure that the health and well being of the children is protected.
During such illness or medical emergency, each party shall have the right to visit the
children as often as her/she deems consistent with the proper medical care of the children.
9. This Order is entered pursuant to an agreement of the parties at a Custody
Conciliation Conference. The parties may modify the provisions of this Order by mutual
consent. In the absence of mutual consent, the terms of this Order shall control.

AND NOW comes the Petitioner, Dennis E. Meyer, Jr., by his attorneys, Irwin &
McKnight, and presents the following Petition for Modification of Custody.
1.
The Petitioner, Dennis E. Meyer, Jr., is an adult individual with an address of7073
Carlisle Pike, Lot 132, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.
2.
The Respondent, Janet M. (Meyer) Martyn, 7073 Carlisle Pike, Lot 112, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania, 17013.
3.
The parties are the natural parents of three (3) children, namely Raven A. Meyer and
Melissa N. Meyer, born May 12,2000, and Dakota 1. Meyer, born September 27, 2001.

The Petitioner desires that the parties have shared legal custody of said minor children.
5.
The Petitioner desires primary physical custody of said minor children, with periods of
temporary physical custody to Respondent as the parties agree is in the best interest of said
children.
6.
The best interests and permanent welfare of the minor children requires that the Court
grant the Petitioner's request as set forth above.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner, Dennis E. Meyer, Jr., respectfully requests that he be
awarded primary physical custody and shared legal custody of Raven A. Meyer, Melissa N.
Meyer, and Dakota J. Meyer, as provided herein, with periods of temporary physical custody to
Respondent as provided herein.

consideration of the attached Custody Conciliation Repo!1, it is ordered and directed as
follows:
1. The Father, Dennis E. Meyer, and the Mother, Janet M. Meyer, shall have
shar~ legal custody of Raven A. Meyer and Melissa N. Meyer, born May 12, 2000 and
Dakota J. Meyer, born September 27,2001. Each parent shall have an equal right. to be
exercised jointly with the other parent. to make all m~or non-emergency decisions
atfecting the Children's general \vell-being including, but not limited to, all decisions
regarding their health, education and religion.
2. The parties shall have shared phys~al custody of the children on the
following schedule:
A. Week on/week off with Saturday at 2:00 p.m. being the exchange day and
time. Father's week shall begin May 25, 2002.
B. The non-custodial parent shall have physical custody ofthe children on
Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., except when the custodial parent
is on vacation or otherwise out of the area.
3. The exchange of physical custody shaU take place with the "receiving
parent" providing transportation so that the parties have as little contact with each other.

shall have physical custody of the children on Father's Day, both at 10:00 a.m.
to 8:00 p.m.
B. The parties shall share the children's birthdays as agreed by the parties, from
8:00 a.m. to I :00 p.m. and 1 :00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
C. The parties shall alternate the Thanksgiving holiday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. Mother shall have physicalcustody of the children on Thanksgiving in

even numbered years; Father shall haye physical custody of the children in
odd numbered years.
D. Easter Sunday shall be alternated between the patiies from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00
p.m. Mother shall have physical custody of the children in even numbered
years; Father shall have physical custody of the children in odd numbered
years.
E. The Christmas holiday shall be divided into two Blocks. Block A shall be
from Christmas Eve at 12:00 noon to Christmas Day at 12:00 noon. Block B
shall be from Christmas Day at 12:00 noon to December 26 at 12:00 noon.
Mother shall have Block A in odd numbered years and Block B in even
numbered years. Father shall have Block A in even numbered years and
Block B in odd numbered years.
5. Neither pany shall leave the jurisdiction of Pennsylvania without prior
notification of the other party, along with the location, address and telephone number
where the children may be contacted.
6. Neither party shall consume alcoholic beverages to the point of
intoxication or illegal drugs while the children are in their physical custody.
7. Neither party shall do any1hing. nor pe!111it a third patiy to do anything
that may estrange the children from the other patiy, or injure the opinion of the children
as to the other party, or may hamper the free and natural development of the children's
love or affection for the other party.
8. The pm1ies shall keep each other advised immediately relative to any
emergencies, medical or otherwise, concerning the children and shall, further, take any
necessary steps to ensure that the health and well being of the children is protected.
During such illness or medical emergency, each party shall have the right to visit the
children as often as her/she deems consistent with the proper medical care of the children.
9. This Order is entered pursuant to an agreement of the patiies at a Custody
Ccmciliation Conference. The parties may modify the provisions of this Order by mutual
consent. In the absence of mutual consent, the terms of this Order shall control.
