The Respondent has stated the present Intent to laave the Hospital against medical advice, 9, Dr. Long has advised that It Is likely that Respondent's child does not have sufficient lung maturity and If delivered now there is substantial risk of morbidity or mortality to Respondent's child. Dr, Long has further advised that delivery of Respondent's child should be delayed atloast a week, 10. The Respondent has been administered Intravenous magnesium sulfate during her January , I 14, 1999 admission to the Hospital In an effort to stop her active labor, Dr, Long has advised thaI if Respondentls discharged now, she may not have sufflclenttime to return to the hospital for proper labor and delivery care in the event that she begins active labor again 11, Dr, Long has recommended that Respondent remain at the Hospital until her condltlon has stabilized. Dr, Long Is of the opinion that It may be possible to discharge Respondent in one (1) to two (2) days If the labor Is stopp~ and her condition Is stabilized, and if her labor is not stopped it may be , necessary to deliver Respondent's child, 12, Karen Scholl, the mother of Respondent, has been with Respondent at the Hospital.
