AND NOW come the Plaintiffs, Jonathan S, Service, and Carole
C. Service, his wife, by and through their attorneys, Friedman ,
King, P,C, and bring this Amended Complaint, averring as follows:
1. The Plaintiffs are Jonathan S, Service and Carole C.
Service, his wife, who reside at 929 Willcliff Drive,
Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17055,
2. Defendant is Michael Buffington, an adult individual
who resides at 3424 Walnut street, camp Hill, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania 17011,
3. On or about April 4, 1993, Plaintiffs loaned to
Defendant and his then - wife, Linda M. Buffington, the sum of
$5,000,00.
4, Said loan was evidenced by a note dated April 4, 1993
and executed by Defendant and his then - wife, Linda M.
Buffington, A copy of said note is attached h0reto and marked
Exhibit A.
5, Said note provided for interest at the rate of 8 1/2 ,
per annum and monthly payments in the amount of $157,84.
6. Defendant timely paid $2,888,86 between the date of
entering into the loan (April 4, 1993) and October 17, 1994,
7. Tbereafter, interest accrued at the rate of 8 1/2, , per
annum until February 28, 1996 in the amount of $294,71.
8, Defendant made one final payment of $1,110,72 on or
about February 28, 1996.
9, Defendant therefore paid a total of $3,999,58,
10. Since the date of said last payment, interest has
aocrued at the rate of 8 1/2 , per annum, in the amount of
