AND this agreemenl waiving the right of lien shall he an independent covenunl tlnd slmll apenlte and he
effective as well with respecllo work done and materials furnished under tiny supplemental conlract for ex(m work
in the ereclion. cunstruction. and complelion uf the said building or huildings as any work and labor done and
materials furnished under the contract aforesaid.
AND, in order 10 give Ihe Owner full power and authority 10 protect himself ;md the lot or lots of ground
against J.UlY and all claims filed by the Contractor or tmyone acting under or through him or it in violation of the
foregoing covenanl. the SOlid Contractor for himself, themselves, itself, hereby irrevocably tluthorizes and
empowers ;my Attorney of any Court of Common Pll'as of the Common\\lcalth of Pennsylv.m!a, to appear for
him, them, it or any of them, in any of the said Courts of Common Pleas as Attorney for him, them, or it and
in him, their, its, name, mark satisfied of record at the cost and expense of the Contractor or of any SubR
Contractor or Materinlrnan, or Materialmcn, any and all claims or claim, lien or liCII, filed by or for the
Contractor. or any Suh-Contractor or Materialman, or in his or their nnme against said building or buildings, lot
or 1015 of ground or any p.lrt thcreof and for such act, or acts this shall be good and suflicient warranl and
authority, and a refercnce to the Court, Term and Number in which and where this Agreement shall have been
tiled shall be a sufficient exhibit of the AUlhority herein contained to warrant such action, and the Contractor for
himself,thcmselves, itself, do hereby remise, release ami quit-claim all rights and all manner of errors, defects and
imperfections wh;:llsoeve,. in entering sllch smisfaclion or in ;:mywise touching or concerning (he same.
