5. It is specifically denied that Defendant ever received or accepted the goods
referenced in this Complaint.
6. Defendant is not in a position to admit or deny this allegation, since the
information is not within his knowledge or control. Strict proof is demanded,
Denied. Defendant is not able to admit to this assertion at this time,

Denied that there is any basis for charging pre-judgment interest.

WHEREFORE, for the reasons stated above, Defendant respectfully requests
that this Honorable Court deny the claims for relief sought by Plaintiff.
COMPLAINT AGAINST JOINED DEFENDANTS
12. Defendant incorporates by reference the responses set forth above.
13. If the items described in Plaintiff's Complaint were delivered, they were
delivered to the Royal Palms Hotel and Casitas, located at 5200 East Camelback Road,
Phoenix, Arizona, where Defendant's President was located on the date in question.
14. Neither Defendant nor its President took possession of the items which are
the subject of this Complaint.
15. The documents attached to Plaintiffs Complaint indicate that the items in
question were delivered to the Royal Palms Hotel and Casitas and accepted by lUl
agent for the Hotel on February 23, 1998.
16. A copy of the Complaint filed in this action is attached hereto.
17. These items were never delivered to Defendant or Defendant's President.
18. If the items were delivered, Royal Palms Hotel and Casitas is responsible
for the costs associated with the items.
19. The Royal Palms Hotel and Casitas is owned and operated by the following
entities:
a. Destinations Royal Palms Hotel, Inc.
b. Commonwealth Royal Palms Operating Corporation.
c. Commonwealth Royal Palms Holding Company.
20. Liability for the items in question rests with the three corporate entities
named in ~ 19,
21. Defendant Crossroads Entertainment, Inc. hereby joins the three corporate
entities set forth in ~ 19 as additional Defendants in this proceeding.
WHEREFORE, for the reasons set forth above, Defendant Crossroads
Entertainment, Inc. requests of this Honorable Court that in the event any judgment
is entered in this matter, it be entered against Destinations Royal Palms Hotel, Inc"
Commonwealth Royal Palms Operating Corporation, and/or Commonwealth Royal
Palms Holding Company, and not Crossroads Entertainment. Inc.
