COMPLAINT
1. Plaintiff, First Union National Bank. successor by merger to CoreStates Bank.
N .A.. successor by merger to Meridian Bank. is a national bank with an office at 645
Hamilton Street. Allentown, Lehigh County, PelUlSylvania, 18901.
2. Defendants, Lee E. Vanasdalen alkla Lee E. Vanasdlen and Sara E.
Vanasdalen a/kla Sara E. Vanasdlen. Mortgagors and Real Owners of the premises
hereinafter described. are adult individuals whose last known address is 16 Hill Road,
Carlisle, Cumberland County, PelUlSylvania 17013.
3. On September IS, 1992. the Defendants made, executed and delivered to

Meridian Bank a Collaleral Mortgage in the original amount of One Hundred Seventy-Five
Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00), which mortgage is recorded in Mortgage Book Volume
1092, Page 265, Cumberland County Records. A true and correct copy of the Mortgage is
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
4. CoreStates Bank, N .A. is a successor by merger to Meridian Bank.
5. First Union National Bank is a successor by merger to CoreStates Bank, N.A.
6. Said Mortgage has not been assigned since the mergers.
7. The premises subject to said mortgage is described as follows:
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot of ground located on the Northwest comer
of Walnut BOllom Road and Noble Boulevard in the Borough of Carlisle,
Cumberland County, PelUlSylvania, bounded and described as follows:
BEING all of Lot No. 13 and Eastern one-half of Lot No. 12 as shown
on the Plan of East Hills recorded in Plan Book 4, Page 39.
HAVING thereon erected a I-story brick ranch type dwelling house
with attached 2-car garage.
BEING the same premises which L.B. Phillips, Jr. and E. Lucille
Phillips, husband and wife, by their deed dated November 14, 1962, and
recorded on November 14, 19962 in Book 20-R, Page 1003 in the Office of
the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County Pennsylvania, granted
and conveyed unto Lee E. Vanasdlen and Sara E. Vanasdlen, husband and
wife.
8. The provisions of Section 2 of Act 91 of 1983, 35 P.S. ~1680.403c, do no
apply as the property subject to the collateral mortgage is not the residence of the
Defendants .

Northwest corner of Walnut Bottom Road and Noble
Boulevard in the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
BEING all of Lot No. 13 and Eastern one-half of
Lot No. 12 as shown on the Plan of East Hills recorded
in Plan Book 4, Page 39.
HAVING thereon erected a 1-story brick ranch type
