MICHAEL SNYDER Defendant CIVIL ACTION - LAW COMPLAINT 1. The Plaintiff is an adult individual residing at 444 Whitmer Road, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 2. The Defendant is an adult individual residing at RR 3 Box 190, Newport, Perry County, Pennsylvania. 3. The facts and occurrences hereinafter related took place on or about May 29, 1997 on Route 11 at its intersection with Shear Drive in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. 4. At the time and place aforesaid, Plaintiff was the owner of a 1988 Dodge pickup truck and was proceeding on Route 11 which was a through street. S. At the time and place aforesaid, Defendant was the operator of a 1979 Chevrolet Blazer and was stopped on Shear Drive at its intersection with Route 11. 6. At the time and place aforesaid, Defendant pulled onto Route 11 striking the Plaintiff's vehicle and causing the damages hereinafter set forth. 7. The aforesaid accident and damages resulting therefrom were caused by the negligence of Defendant in that he: a. Failed to yield the right of way to Plaintiff's vehicle. b. Failed to make a proper observation for other vehicles. c. Operated his vehicle in a careless and reckless manner. 8. Solely as a result of the Defendant's negligence, Plaintiff's vehicle sustained damages in excess of the fair market i i I ',.:-, I :\ value ot the vehicle resulting in a loss to the Plaintitt in the amount ot Three Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty-Nine and 35/100 ($3,389.35) Dollars, WHEREFORE, Plaintiff demands judgment against Defendant in the amount of Three Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty-Nine and 35/100 ($3,389.35) Dollars, together with interest and costs.
