WHEREAS, Christopher R. Powers and Dianne Powers, of 9 West Main Street,
Newville, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17241, have executed a contract with Sigman's
Home Sales, of 50 Bonnybrook Road, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17013, for
the erection of a residential dwelling upon a tract of land situate in South Middleton Township,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, more particulany described in the deed of William R.
Powers, Jr., single man, to Christopher R. Powers and Dianne Powers, his wife, dated October
9, 1998, and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania in Deed Book 186, Page 1107, and being Lot 11, of Fair Oaks (Plan Book 17,
Page 21), located on Oak Park Avenue, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.
NOW, May '1, 1999, at the time of and immediately before the execution of the
principal contract, and before any authority has been given by the said Owners to the said
Contractor to commence work on said building, or to purchase materials for the same in
consideration of the making of the said contract with the said Contractor and the further
consideration of the sum of One and no/100 ($1,00) Dollar to Contractor paid by said Owners,
it Is agreed that no lien shall be filed against the building by the contractor, or any
subcontractor, nor by any of the material men or workmen Of any other person for any labor or
materials purchased or extra labor or materials purchased for the erection of said building, \he
right to file such liens being expressly waived,
WITNESS our hands and seals the day and year aforesaid,
