NOW THEREFOR& THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH.• That the raid Coatracto , for and in consideration of
theswmof(11.O0) Doilarto contractor in handpaid by Owner, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknonkdged and the farther consideration mentioned in the agreement aforesaid for themseloes and their
subcontractors, and all parties acting through or under them, covenant and agree that no mechanics liens or chtints
shaU be fded or maintained by them or any of them against the said baddingr and the lot of ground appartenant
thereto for or on account of any work done or materiak furnished by them or any of them under said contract or
otherwise, for, towards, in, or about the erection and construction of the said bai dings on the lot above described
and the said Contractor, for themselves, their subcontractors and others under them hereby espresdy waive and
relinquish the right to hare, file, and maintain any mechanics tiers or claims against the said buildings or any of
them, and agree that this instrament, waiving the right of Gen, shall be an independent caveman.
