TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:
The Mechanicsburg Area School District by its solicitor,
Richard C. Snelbaker, Esquire, does hereby make application to
this Court for the appointment of School Police Officers for the
Mechanicsburg Area School District under the provisions of the
Public School Code of 1949, as amended, Section 778 (24 P.S. 7-
778), and represents as follows:
1.
That the Mechanicsburg Area School District is a duly
organized and constituted school district located in Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, being comprised of the Boroughs of
Mechanicsburg and Shiremanstown and the Township of Upper Allen.
2.
That said Mechanicsburg Area School District is desirous of
and in need of School police officers to act as policemen of said
School District.
3.
That the Board of School Directors of the Mechanicsburg Area
School District has by resolution adopted on August 10, 1999,
designated the following named persons to act as School Police

upon consideration of the foregoing appl' ation and on the motion li
of Richard C. Snelbaker, Esquire, Attorney for the Mechanicsburg
Area School District, the prayer of the foregoing application is
granted and the following persons are hereby appointed School
Police Officers for the Mechanicsburg Area School District for
the year ending June 30, 2000, said persons being subject to the
powers, duties and requirements of the Public School Code of
1949, as amended, Section 778 (24 P.S. 7-778) upon compliance
with the other requirements of the aforesaid Act:
