WHEREAS, John R. Snyder, Jr. and Pearl E. Snyder, his wife, of 440 Factory Street,
Carlislgg, Cu berland County, Pennsylvania 17013, have executed a con??ragqt with

for the erectio of an addition to a residential dwelling upon a tract of land situate in Lower
Frankford Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, more particularly described in the
deed of Genevieve B. Snyder, widow, to John R. Snyder, Jr. and Pearl E. Snyder, his wife,
dated February 20, 1979 and recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania in Deed Book "H", Volume 25. Page 375, and being known as 47
Waterside Drive, Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013.
NOW, September 3 . 1999, at the time of and immediately before the execution of the
principal contract, and before any authority has been given by the said Owners to the said
Contractor to commence work on said building, or to purchase materials for the same in
consideration of the making of the said contract with the said Contractor and the further
consideration of the sum of One and no/100 ($1.00) Dollar to Contractor paid by said Owners, it
is agreed that no lien shall be filed against the building by the contractor, or any subcontractor,
nor by any of the material men or workmen or any other person for any labor or materials
purchased or extra labor or materials purchased for the erection of said building, the right to file
such liens being expressly waived.
