Plaintiff is engaged in the business of selling and supplying produce to area businesses, including area restaurants such as Shoney's Restaurant. 5. From June 1998 to June 1999, Defendant ordered produce from Plaintiff, which Plaintiff delivered. 6. Despite taking receipt of the produce deliveries, Defendant has failed and/or refused to make payment for the produce deliveries. 7. As a result of Defendant's failure to make payment for the produce deliveries, there is currently due and owing the sum of $17,453.05, which includes produce deliveries from June 1998 through January 1999, as well as interest on the outstanding balance.
