PETITION FOR LEAVE TO WITHDRAW AS COUNSEL
Counsel for Plaintiffs, James R. Ronca and Schmidt, Ronca &
Kramer, P.C., respectfully request permission for leave to
withdraw as Plaintiffs, counsel and, therefore, aver as follows:
1. The above-captioned case arises out of personal
injuries suffered by the Plaintiffs arising out of psychological
services supplied by the Defendants.
2. Plaintiffs initiated suit in this matter by filing a
Praecipe to Issue a Writ of Summons on or about September 16,
1999.
3. James R. Ronca and the law firm of Schmidt, Ronca, &
Kramer, P.C., have determined that they cannot continue to
represent the Plaintiffs under the Pennsylvania Rules of
Professional Conduct, Rule 1.16 (optional withdrawal); therefore,
Plaintiffs, *attorney asks that he and his law firm be permitted
to withdraw as counsel and further request that the Court grant
the Plaintiff a 90-day stay of proceedings to obtain new counsel.
4. Plaintiffs' attorney has advised the Plaintiffs by
letter that they intend to seek permission to withdraw as counsel
in the above-captioned matter.
5. Plaintiffs' attorney has offered to make available to
the Plaintiffs all file materials so that Plaintiffs may seek and
hire other counsel to pursue the above-captioned matter.
6. Plaintiffs' counsel's intention to withdraw has also
been communicated to the Plaintiffs by a telephone conversation
between Todd Getgen and Mark Johnston.
7. Plaintiffs' counsel has requested that the Plaintiffs
concur with this Petition, but Plaintiffs have not returned the
supplied concurrence forms.
8. Plaintiffs' counsel has served a copy of this Petition
on the Plaintiffs by regular and certified mail.

WHEREFORE, James R. Ronca and Schmidt, Ronca & Kramer, P.C.,
