FOR THE 1999 MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
PETITION
TO THE HONORABLE JUDGES OF SAID COURT:
The Petition of Ralph Vichman, Joan Maher and Karen Byers, the County Board of
Elections, through it's Solicitor, Stephen Tilcy respectfully represent:
On October 21, 1999, the Board of Elections became aware of an error on the absentee
ballots for the Commissioner Office race for the 1999 Municipal Election.
The absentee ballot incorrectly instructs the voter to "vote for not more than three" for
the office of County Commissioner. A copy of the absentee ballot is attached hereto and made a
part hereof and marked as Exhibit A.
The correct instructions for the office of County Commissioner should read "vote for not
more than two".
The Board of Elections files this Petition pursuant to section 2970 of the Election Code,
25 P.S. 2970, copy attached,
