At all times material hereto, Defendant operated a market stand at Saturday's Market in Middletown, PA, and derived income from the sale of certain merchandise there. 4. Beginning on or about September 29, 1995, Defendant contracted with ?... - Plaintiff to purchase certain merchandise on credit, and Defendant would then sell said merchandise at her market stand. ?`i I 5. Defendant received merchandise from Plaintiff on a regular basis, and contracted and agreed to pay fair market price for the merchandise, and to make payments on a regular basis. 6. In addition, on or about July 22, 1996, Defendant contracted with Plaintiff to borrow the sum of $800.00, which Defendant agreed to pay back to Plaintiff, with any interest and costs associated with the loan, in regular installment payments. 7. Plaintiff incurred certain costs and interest in connection with the loan, as the money was obtained through a credit card debt. 8. In addition, on or about February 24, 1997, Defendant contracted with Plaintiff for a special order of merchandise that was to be sold at her market stand. 9. In connection with the special order, Defendant agreed to make regular installment payments for the merchandise. 10. Defendant made periodic, but not regular, payments toward the loan, the special order, and the general order of merchandise received on credit from Plaintiff. 11. Defendant last made a payment toward these contractual obligations with Plaintiff on April 13, 1999. 12. Since April 13, 1999, despite repeated requests from Plaintiff, Defendant has failed and refused to make any further payments on the amounts she owes to Plaintiff for general merchandise on credit, special order of merchandise and the loan, which total an outstanding amount of $2462.03. 13. Defendant is in breach of contract with Plaintiff, and owes Plaintiff $2462.03, plus ongoing interest and costs.
