Owner, whereby the former undertook and agreed to erect and construct a

on that certain lot of ground situate in
the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania more particularly
described on a Plan for the Centenary/Addison Building .as recorded in Plan
Book ~, Page~, being existing Lot No. 1 and proposed Lot 1-A and Lot 2
on said plan.
NO~ THEREFORe, THIS AGREEMENT ~ITNESSETH: ~at the said Contracto and in conz~eration of
the sum of ($1.~) Do,ar to ~hem in hand paid by ~er, the receipt whereof ~ hereby
acknowle~e& and the further co~ideration mentioned in the ~reement aforesai& for themselves and their
zubcontractors, and MI parties acting thrash or under them, covenant ~nd ~ree that no mechanic ~ liens or claims
shall be fi&d or maintained by them or any of them against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtenant
thereto for or on account of any work done or ~ter&ls furn~hed by them or any of them under said contract or
othe~e, for, to~rds, in. or about the erection and construction of the said bu~d~s on the lot above described,
and the said Contractor, for themselves, their subcontractors and others under them hereby expressly ~ive and
relinquish the right to have, fde, and maintain ~y mechanic~ liens or claims aghast the said buildings or any of
them, and agree that this instrument, ~iving the ~ght of lien, shall be an independent covenant.
