Petitioner is JESSICA KOSER, an adult individual and daughter of the alleged incapacitated person, residing at 631 Range End Road, Dillsburg, York County, Pennsylvania 17019. 2. The alleged incompetent is PATRICIA LOGAN, born June 25,1951 (age 55 years), whose permanent residence address is 1316 Zimmerman Road, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17015. 3. The alleged incapacitated person became incapacitated and has been unable to handle her own affairs on or about April 11, 2007. Her spouse, Steven C. Logan, died on April 13, 2006. 4. The alleged incapacitated person's incapacity is documented in a competency affidavit prepared by her treating physician, D. Patrick Bryant, M.D., which statement is incorporated herein by reference and attached to petitioner's original petition as Exhibit "A" and by his testimony on the record at the April 20, 2007 hearing. 5. Following the hearing on April 20, 2007, this Court entered an order appointing petitioner, Jessica Koser, emergency plenary guardian of the person and estate of Patricia Logan and directing her to advise the Court if the appointment required extension past the initial 72 hour period. 6. The alleged incapacitated person remains heavily sedated in MSHMC Intensive Care Unit and there has been no significant change in her condition or capacity since the hearing on April 20, 2007. 7. it is necessary that the emergency appointment be extended for up to twenty (20) additional days so that petitioner can continue to handle Ms. Logan's personal, medical and financial affairs. 8. Counsel for petitioner has discussed this matter with Stacey Wolf, Esquire, court appointed attorney for Patricia Logan, and she has no objection to extension requested by petitioner. WHEREFORE, petitioner respectfully requests this Honorable Court extend the emergency temporary guardianship appointment for an additional twenty (20) days. HAROLD S.
