Dilger, who received the Tax Important Notice and Taxpayer Response form from the Department of Revenue regarding the above estate. Please be advised the matter referenced in the notice, PNC account number 5140113368 was held by Grace I. Hepford, her husband, Samuel P. Hepford and their daughter Dianne G. Hepford at the time of Grace 1. Hepford's date of death on June 21, 2005 (see death certificate enclosed). Enclosed please find a copy of the account statement pertaining to said date which is submitted in support of the computation of the tax due. Upon the death of Grace I. Hepford, the property passed equally to Samuel P. Hepford and Dianne G. Dilger. The amount going to Samuel P. Hepford is not subject to tax in that Samuel P. Hepford was the spouse of Grace 1. Hepford. The amount subject to tax for Dianne G. Dilger would be one-sixth (116) of the value of Grace 1. Hepford's interest as of the time of death, $26,658.53, or $4,443.00.
