Lee Roland, Builder hereinafter called the Contractor, AND Richard E. Denison and Peggy K. Denison Husband and Wife W ITNESSETH THAT: hereinafter called the Owner. The Contractor by instrument dated Tti``~~ Grp , 2 00 t entered into an Agreement with the Owner for the erection and construction of a single family residence ,situated on Lot 45, Phase VIII, Meadowview Estates, more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto AND WHEREAS, the Contractor has covenanted and agreed therein to enter into an additional agreement with the Owner stipulating that no lien or liens of any kind shall be filed against the above building or the appurtenances thereto. NOW, THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH, that [he Contractor, for and in Consideration of the awarding to him of the said contract as for the swn of ONE DOLLAR (81.00) to him in hand paid by the Owner, the receipt of which is hereby aeknowledged, promises and agrees that no Mechanic's Lien or liens shall be filed against the aforesaid building or the appurtenances thereto by any subcontractor, subcontractors, materialmen, mechanics, laborers or anyone for materials furnished, work done or services rendered of any kind whatsoever, fir or about, oron account ofthe aforesaid building or on the creditthereof.
