copy of the Orders of Court dated September 11, 1996 and June 5, 2001from the Juvenile
and Domestic Relations District Court for the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

ORDER
Pursuant to this Court's Order of July 9, 1996, and Diane
Rutten's notarized letter to this Court dated August 23, 1996, the
Court finds that Diane Rutten had personal notice of today's
proceedings and by her letter and request made a general appearance
on the issues before this Court.
It is ORDERED, ADJUDGED, and DECREED that Michael Walter
Rutten is granted sole legal and physical custody of Aaron J.
Rutten, born June 1, 1983, Alyssa M. Rutten, born September 15,
1988, Amanda E. Rutten, born January 12, 1986, and Ashley R.
Rutten, born February 20, 1987.
Diane Rutten is granted reasonable visitation with said
children to include two weeks in the summer; Christmas Holidays,
(according to the Virginia Beach Public School schedule) in odd-
numbered years; Thanksgiving Holidays in even-numbered years; and
Easter Holidays (including Spring Break if Easter immediately
precedes or follows Spring Break). For all periods set forth
above, Mrs. Rutten shall pick up the children and Mr. Rutten shall
be responsible for picking up the children from Mrs. Rutten's city
of residence and returning them to Virginia Beach.
Michael Rutten was present in Court this date.

ORDER
THIS MATTER CAIdE FOR HE~G on this the 21~ day of December, 2000 in
Courtroom Number 5 before the Honorable Judge Woodrow Lewis, Jr. upon the joint motion of the
parties for specified visitation; Diane Rutten having appeared in person, pro se, Michael Rutten
having appeared in person, pro se; and present were Jennifer D. Oram-Smith, GAL appointed by
the Court for the children, and Aaron Rutten; and upon partial agreement of the parties and upon
rulings by Judge Lewis; the matter was heard.
WHEREUPON, it is ORDERED:
VISITATION:
1. Altemate Weekends: Diane Rutten shall have the two younger children, Ashley
and Alyssa with her on alternate weekends fi.om 7 p.m. Friday evening through 6 p.m. Sund:vy
evening commencing with the weekend of Friday December 22, 2000. Diane Rutten shall have the
two older children, Amanda and Aaron with her on alternate weekends, fi.om 10 a.m. Sunday
morning through 6 p.m. Sunday evening commencing with the weekend of Friday December 22,
2000. The older children may at their request spend Saturday night with the mother with the two
younger children upon advance notice to their mother as approved by their father.

specified in the p~o[ ~O~der o.f this Court dated September 12, 1996: to-wit: Christmas Holidays
(according to the ~[~F~I~ Public School schedule) in odd-numbered years; Thanksgiving
Holidays in even-numbered years; and Easter Holidays (including Spring Break if Easter
immediately precedes or follows Spring Break) in odd-numbered years except that the two older
children shall not be required to spend the night unless they desire to do so and only if the mother
has adequate bedding and food supplies for all of the children.
3. Summer: Diane Rutten shall have two weeks visitation with the children upon
written notice to Michael Rutten by May 30~ of the dates she plans to exercise summer visitation
which written notice shall include details of the mother's arrangements for supervision of the
children during any time that she will be working during such visitation. Michael Rutten shall
provide written notice to the mother of the children's scheduled activities during the summer in
order that the mother may plan her summer visitation and so that the mother may ensure the
children's attendance at their scheduled activities.
4. Transportation: Diane Rutten shall be responsible for all
transportation of the children for visitation as follows: The two younger children, Ashley and
Alyssa will be picked up by the mother at the father's residence on Friday and the two older
children, Aaron and Amanda, will be picked up by the mother at the father's residence on Sunday
morning at 10 a.m. All of the children will be returned to the father's residence by the mother on
Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
5. Notice of cancellation or delay: The mother shall notify the father at least one
half hour in advance, if possible, if she will be more than one-holf hour late either picking up or
returning the children for visitation.
6. Miscellaneous provisions: The older children shall not have regular overnight
visitation with the mother unless and until the mother has adequate bedroom space and beds for
each child to ensure privacy and comfort for the children. The mother shall ensure that the
children attend their regularly scheduled activities including church during her visitation time with
the children and that the children's homework is completed prior to return of the children aller
visitation. The mother and father shall communicate directly with one another rather than through
the children regarding visitation of the children. The father shall provide copies of all school
notices and reports and extracurricular activity schedules to the mother.
7. Telephone Access: The mother shall continue to have reasonable telephone
access to the children which shall include at minimum, once per week on Fridays between 4 p.m.
and 7 p.m.
8. Pursuant to §20-124.5, either party who intends to relocate his or her residence
shall give a thirty-day advance written notice of any such intended relocation and of any intended
change of address, said notice being given to both the other party and to this Court.
9. Access to the child's records. Pursuant to §20-124.6 of the Code of Virginia,
1950, as amended, notwithstanding any other provision of law, neither parent shall be denied
access to the academic, medical, hospital or other health records of that parent's minor child
unless otherwise ordered by the court for good cause shown.
