PETITION TO CONSOLIDATE NAMES
AND NOW COMES Petitioner, Donald J. Edwards, Jr., a resident of the Borough
of Camp Hiil, seeking to consolidate the various write-in names used on the Democratic
Ballot in the Primary Election, held on Tuesday, May 1 S, 200?.
1. Petitioner is Donald J. Edwards, Jr., an adult individual residing at 22?
North 24~' Street, Camp Hitl, Cumberland County, Fennsylvania.
2. Petitioner is a republican candidate for the office of Camp H'iII Borough
Council and appeared on the May 15, 200?, ballot.
3. The Democratic ballot did not have any candidates listed for Camp HiIi
Borough Council.
4. There were no other candidates running for office with Petitioner's name
or a name similar to his.
5. Petitioner was also a write-in candidate on the democratic ballot.
Petitioner's name was written in as follows with the number of votes indicated beside
each version of his name:
a. Don Edwazds (4I votes);
b. Don Edwards, Jr. (13 votes);
c. Donald J. Edwazds, Jr. (1 vote);
d. Donald Edwards (2 votes);
e. Donnie Edwazds (1 vote}; and
f. Edwards, Don (1 vote).

6. Petitioner believes and therefore avers that these write-in votes were
intended for him and requests that all of these names be consolidated into Petitioner's
Legal name of Donald J. Edwards, Jr. and that he be given all of the above-mentioned
democratic votes.
7. Petitioner further requests that his legal name of Donald J. Edwards, Jr.
also appeaz on the Democratic ballot in the November, 2007, general election.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner, Donald J. Edwards, Jr., respectfully requests that the
Court consolidate the various mm~es Listed in this petition into Donald J. Edwards, Jr,,
and that he be assigned all of the democratic votes indicated above.
