PETITION TO TO EXTEND APPOINTMENT OF EMERGENCY GUARDIANS
OF THE PERSON AND ESTATE OF CYNTHIA N. STAGER
AND NOW COMES THE PETITIONER, Cumberland County Area Agency on
Aging, 16 West High Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania and represents and avers as follows:
1.
The Petitioner is the Cumberland County Area Agency on Aging (CCAAA), with
its office located at 16 West High Street, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
2.
The alleged incapacitated person is Cynthia N. Stager, age 60, single woman, who
resides at 2535 Rollo Court, Mechanicsburg, 1, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and
has resided there for a period exceeding one (1) year prior to the filing of the original
Petition in this matter.

On June 1,2007, Petitioner filed a Petition for the Appointment of Emergency

On June 7, 2007, a Hearing was held on said Petition and, upon the conclusion of the
Hearing, Petitioner was appointed Emergency Plenary Guardian of the Person of Cynthia
N. Stager and also as Emergency limited Guardian of the Estate of Cynthia N. Stager
5.
The Order of Court entered on June 7, 2007 is effective for up to seventy-two (72)
hours and that time has elapsed.

Petitioner avers that the emergency will continue if the Order of Court of June 7,
2007 is not extended for a period of twenty (20) days from the expiration of the initial
Emergency Order.

Counsel for Cynthia N. Stager concurs in the request to extend the appointment of
the Area Agency on Aging as Emergency Plenary Guardian of the Person of Cynthia N.
Stager and as Emergency Limited Guardian of the Estate of Cynthia N. Stager
8.
A Hearing on the appointment of Permanent Plenary Guardians of the Person and
Estate of Cynthia N. Stager is scheduled to be heard on June 28, 2007.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays that this Honorable Court extend the appointment
of the Emergency Plenary Guardian of the, Person and Emergency Limited Guardian of
the Estate of Cynthia N. Stager until the Hearing scheduled for June 28,2007.
