AND NOW, this JL day of August, 2005, upon consideration of the Petition For Waiver of
Three Days For Marriage License Application and it appearing that Michael and Tara will apply on
September 13,2005 for a marriage license and the Court being satisfied that extraordinary circumstance
demand it, the Clerk of Orphans' Court is hereby authorized to issue said license immediately upon
proper application thereof provided all provisions concerning m~_~~gs: . S. Title 23 are met.

PETITION FOR WAIVER OF THREE DAYS FOR MARRIAGE LICENSE APPLICATION
1. Tara Long and Michael Garrity who reside at 2045 West Cuyler in Chicago, IL 60618. We
would like to petition the Court to waive the three days waiting period for issuance of a
marriage license.
2. The reason for their request is to foresee any issues that could arise to prevent us from being
able to meet the three day waiting period. Specifically, if our inbound flight is delayed such
that we cannot make it to the Register of Wills by four in the afternoon on Tuesday,
September 13th, 2005. We think it would be very unfortunate and distressing for our two
hundred plus friends and family traveling to our wedding to not see us legally be married.
Due to our schedules, we cannot make it to Pennsylvania at any other time prior to the
wedding within the sixty day window. As we have been together for six and a half years and
engaged for just over one year, we assure you that we are not rushing into getting married.
3. The petitioners would like to apply for a marriage license on Tuesday, September 13th, 2005
or if our flight is delayed Wednesday, September 14th, 2005 with the date of the marriage
being Saturday, September 17,2005.
WHEREFORE, the undersigned petition the Court to waive the three day waiting period for
iss~ce of the marriage license.
