1 Rosemary had no problem with the way I was handling things.
2 Anything that I had purchased with her money I gave
3 Priscilla Whitman from the Area of Aging, all the receipts,
4 everything was accounted for, and I think I should be in a
5 place to continue. And prior to the feeding tube going into
6 her nose, they called me, I made the medical decisions.
7 When she had kidney failure they were looking at
8 dialysis, they decided they did not need to do that.
9 I have been making all the decisions and I feel
10 that people are trying to push me out. This is not what this
11 woman wanted.

18 Q Where did you get this power of attorney?
19 A Commerce Bank had faxed it over to Holy Spirit
20 Hospital. At that time the social worker, Ellen, and the
21 notary had went into the room, that is when she was able to
22 speak, they read the document and explained it to her before
23 they would let her sign it. That is part of their job, to make
24 sure that she understands exactly what she is signing.
