ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, this r day of August, 2007, this matter having been called for a
hearing, the Court finds, upon clear and convincing evidence, that Boris Ortenberg is an
incapacitated person in that he suffers from a mental impairment that prevents him from
receiving and evaluating information effectively and prevents him from formulating and
communicating decisions to such a significant extent that he is unable to manage his
financial affairs or meet essential requirements for his physical health and safety on a
daily basis.

The Court further finds that the emergency necessitating the filing of this petition
will continue beyond seventy-two hours from the date of this Order. Counsel for Boris
Ortenberg waives the requirement for filing a petition to extend upon the expiration of the
seventy-two hour period ofthis Order.
The Court directs that Boris Ortenberg fully cooperate with Cumberland County
Aging & Community Services.
A hearing on the issue of appointing a Permanent Plenary Guardian of the Person
