Petitioners, Perry L.& Barbara L. Owen, are adult licensed drivers with a resident address of 121 Laurel Drive, Enola, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17025. 2. The Depaztment of Motor Vehicles has an address of PO Box 68674, Harrisburg, PA, 17106- 8674. Petitioners received notice of proposed 3 month registration suspension for failure of proof of insurance. 3. We wish to appeal this based on the following: a. We did in fact have insurance on our vehicle. We changed insurance companies, from AIG NATIONAL INS CO to PROGRESSIVE. b. We were under the impression that our new insurance company, PROGRESSIVE, would contact the DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION with our new insurance information. c.
