Whereas, the Owner is about to execute contemporaneously herewith, a contract, with said
contractor, a Corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, for
the General Construction work located within the lot of land situate in North Middleton
Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Being Lot No. 45 on the certain Plan of
Additional Lots of Greenvale, said Plan of Lots being entered of record in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County, at Carlisle, Pennsylvania in Plan Book 6,
Page 40.
Being the same premises which Meftuha Hawkins, by right of survivorship, by Deed dated
February 21, 2007 and recorded March 28, 2007 in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds in and
for Cumberland County, Pennsylvania in Deed Book 279 page 1494, granted and conveyed unto
Larry E. Vereen and Diana M. Vereen, husband and wife.
Now, Therefore, on Septemberv , 2007, at the time of and immediately before the execution
of the principal contract; and before any authority has been given by the said owner to the said
contractor to commence work on the said project, or purchase materials for the same in
consideration of the making ~ of the said contract with the said contractor and the further
consideration of One Dollar paid to the said contractor by the said owner, it is agreed that no
mechanic's claims or other liens .shall be filed against the building and/or ground appurtenant
thereto by the contractor, or any sub-contractor, nor by any of the material men or workmen or
any other person for any labor, or materials purchased, or extra labor or materials purchased or
furnished in connection with the construction of the said project or any part thereof, the right to
file such liens being expressly waived and relinquished herewith.
