DEMAND NOTE

On demand, one (1) year after date of this Note, William J. Wirt, III, and Leah R. Wirt,
husband and wife, and William J. Wirt, III, doing business as Wirt Builders, of 8 Wood View
Drive, Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania 17065, do promise to pay to the order of P. Thomas
Shover, of 81 Noble Blvd., Carlisle, Pennsylvania 17013, Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00)
Dollars without defalcation, for value received, with interest from October 9, 2007 at the rate of
six (6%) per cent, per annum. And further William J. Wirt, III, and Leah R. Wirt, husband and
wife, and William J. Wirt, III, doing business as Wirt Builders, do hereby authorize and
empower any Attorney of any Court of Record of Pennsylvania, or elsewhere, to appear for and
to enter Judgment against them for the above sum, with or without declaration, with costs of suit,
release of errors, without stay of execution, and with five (5%) per cent, added for collection
fees; and William J. Wirt, III, and Leah R. Wirt, husband and wife, and William J. Wirt, III,
doing business as Wirt Builders, also waive the right of inquisition on any real estate that may be
levied upon to collect this note, and do hereby voluntarily condemn the same and authorize the
Prothonotary to enter upon the FI. FA. their said voluntary condemnation, and William J. Wirt,
III, and Leah R. Wirt, husband and wife, and William J. Wirt, III, doing business as Wirt
Builders, further agree said estate may be sold on a Fl. FA., and they do hereby waive and
release all relief from any and all appraisement, stay or exemption laws of any State, now in
force, or hereafter to be passed.
