Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
I represent the Estate of Kathryn G. Schneider. Enclosed is
a check made payable to the Register of wills in the amount of
$32,929.20, same constituting a prepayment at discount on account
of Pennsylvania inheritance taxes in the above-captioned estate.
The prepayment is determined as follows: $159,587.01 multiplied
by 12% or $19,150.44, less discount in the amount of 5% or
$957.52, resulting in taxes due of $18,192.92. Also, $99,170.11
multiplied by 15% or $14,875.52, less discount in the amount of
5% or $743.78, resulting in taxes due of $14,131.74. $18,192.92
plus $14,131.74 results in a total payment of $32,324.66. please
provide me with the appropriate receipt in this matter.
