PETITION FOR CITATION TO SHOW CAUSE
WHY LETTERS TESTAMENTARY SHOULD
NOT BE GRANTED TO SAMUEL L. ZEMAN
Samuel L. Zeman, by and through his attorney, Jerry A. Weigle, files this petition
for citation addressed to James E. Arnold, Karen Styer, Sherie Arnold, and Jamie Shoop,
the heirs of Gary M. Arnold, to appear and show cause, if any there be, why letters
testamentary in the Estate of Gary M. Arnold, deceased, should not be granted to
petitioner Samuel L. Zeman if James E. Arnold, Karen Styer, Sherie Arnold, and Jamie
Shoop fail to qualify to administer the said estate and in support of such petition avers
that:
1. Decedent Gary M. Arnold died on July 4,2007, a resident of 113 Yates Street,

3. Gary M. Arnold is survived by the following next of kin; his n~~l fathei;

James E. Arnold, with a last known address of 5600 Middle Ridge Road, Newpotr,'
Pennsylvania, his natural mother, Karen Styer, with last known address of 1951 Jericho
Road, Apt. 2, New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, and two sisters, Sherie Arnold, whose last
known address is a women's shelter with the mailing address of 1612 Walnut Street,
Berwick, Pennsylvania, and Jamie Shoop, with last known whereabouts were in Port
Royal, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
4. As of the filing of this Petition, no one, including the above mentioned next
of kin have come forth to settle the affairs ofthe decedent.
5. Petitioner was a good friend of Gary M. Arnold and is willing and able to
administer the estate as a qualified and fit person.

6. Petitioner requests that probate be completed and letters testamentary be issued
so that estate administration may be commenced.
7. Samuel L. Zeman resides at 307 North Fayette Street, Shippensburg,
Pennsylvania.
WHEREFORE, to the best of petitioner's information and belief, the heirs of
Gary M. Arnold have refused and continue to refuse to administer the estate of the
deceased, and the petitioner requests that Your Honorable Register of Wills issue a
citation directed to the heirs of Gary M. Arnold to appear and show cause, if any there be,
why letters of testamentary in the Estate of Gary M. Arnold, deceased, should not be
granted to Samuel L. Zeman.
