I am a representative of Erie Insurance Group ("Erie") and as such am fully familiar with the facts and circumstances underlying the above-captioned matter. 2. Erie is subrogated to its insured, Naoma Jane Campbell, in connection with a loss that occurred on February 25, 2005, which is the incident giving rise to this matter. 3. Pursuant to the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act of 1940, as modified by the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of 2003, this affidavit is submitted as proof that Mubarak Mahmoud is not presently in active service in any branch of the United States Military. 4. As proof of the military/non-military status of Mubarak Mahmoud, the undersigned contacted the Defense Manpower Data Center which provided written verification of such status, attached hereto as Exhibit A. 5. The foregoing information is true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
