This access will include all electronic records, transcripts inclusive, that were available prior to April 2007 and those electronic records April 2007 and after, transcripts not inclusive. DATE: December 14, 2007 RE: Transcripts (717? 2406294 Prior to April 2007, as a benefit to the bar and public who use the court system, we were allowing electronic access with the ability to print all of the records of the Prothonotary. In April, to protect the interest of the stenographers, we removed the ability to print these records although they may still be electronically viewed. In order to better serve the bar and the public I want to reinstate the ability to print the records, but I do not want to have to go back before April, 2007, and delete all the filed transcripts off the system. Therefore, since the county solicitor advises me that under the law the stenographers own the transcripts, I am seeking your concurrence to reinstate the ability to print the entire record including transcripts through April, 2007. As of April, 2007, the attorneys and the public will be able to print the Prothonotary records except transcripts. If you have no objection please indicate by signing next to your name and return to me. Otherwise, see me.
