The Plaintiff is GEICO, a corporation authorized to conduct insurance business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with its offices and principal place of business at One GEICO Boulevard, Fredericksburg, Virginia 224 l 2-000 l. 2, The Defendant is Ann Peragine, an adult individual residing at 105lA Brandt Avenue, Lemoyne, Pennsylvania 17043. 3. The Plaintiffissued a policy of automobile insurance to Marlene A. Sweger of 19 Market Street, Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania, which was in effect on June 9, 2003. 4. Ms. Sweger was the owner of a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer which was lawfully parked on Market Street at her residence in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania on June 9, 2003. 5. At said time and place, the Defendant was driving a vehicle on Market Street when she negligently and carelessly lost control of the vehicle and collided with the Sweger vehicle causing the damage hereinafter set forth. 6. The Defendant was negligent and careless in: A. Failing to have her vehicle under control. B. Failing to drive on the travel portion of the highway. C. Failing to observe the Sweger vehicle in time to avoid a collision. 7.As a result of the negligence and carelessness of the Defendant, the vehicle owned by Ms. Sweger sustained damage in the amount of $1,837.85. 8. The Plaintiff's insurance policy provided coverage for the collision loss and has made payment to its insured, Marlene A. Sweger. WHEREFORE, the Plaintiff demands judgment against the Defendant in the amount of $1,837.85, plus interest and costs of suit, an amount within the jurisdiction of arbitration under the local rules of court.
