estate situated as follows undivided one-half interes t in House and Lot of
Ground located at 18 E. Green St., Shiremanstown, Pa.

of the said Last Will and Testament and for Letters Testamentary thereon.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
of
ALICE C. WERTZ
I, Alice C. Wertz, of the Borough of Shiremanstown,
County of Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania, being of
sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my
last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all wills
by me heretofore made.
FIRST: I direct that all my just debts and funeral ex-
penses be paid by my Executrix, hereinafter named, as soon as
possible after my decease.
SECOND: All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate,
whether real, personal or mixed, I give, devise and bequeath
to my sister, E. Mae Wertz.
THIRD: Should my sister, E. Mae Wertz, predecease me, then
I give, devise and bequeath said residue and remainder of my
estate as follows:
a) I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand Five
Hundred ($1,500.00) Dollars to St. John's Lutheran Church,
Shiremanstown, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, said sum to
be delivered to the cemetery committee of St. John's Lutheran
Church, to be used for the upkeep and maintenance of the St.
John's Cemetery situate in Hampden Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania.
b) The remaining residue and remainder of my estate,
I glve and bequeath to my surviving nieces and nephews, share
and share alike.
FOURTH: My personal representative shall have the following
powers in addition to those vested in her by law and by other
provisions of my Will, applicable to all property, whether
principal or income, exercisable without court approval and
effective until actual distribution of all property:

a) To retain any or all of the assets of my
estate, whether real or personal, without regard to any
principle of diversification, risk or productivity.
b) To sell at public or private sale any real or
personal property for such prices and upon such terms or
conditions as she deems proper.
c) To compromise any claim or controversy.
d) To exercise any option, right or privilege
granted in insurance policies or in other investments.
FIFTH: I appoint my sister, E. Mae Wertz, the Executrix
of this my last Will and Testament. Should she fail to qualify
or cease to act as Executrix, then I appoint two of my nephews,
Merle C. Wertz and George J. Wertz, Jr., Co-Executors in her
stead.
