Dear Mr. Wallace:
This is to confirm our recent telephone conversation
wherein I advised you that this firm represents Joyce Keister,
Executrix of the Estate of Thomas J. Eddy, Deceased, Late of
the Borough of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
On or about March 1, 1979, we filed the Pennsylvania Inheri-
tance Tax Return in the above-captioned Estate. We did not
file at that time a Schedule of Debts and Deductions.
In the process of marshalling Mr. Eddy's assets to begin
the process of administering his estate, it became apparent
that Mr. Eddy's estate was substantially diminished from Decem-
ber of 1977 up until the date of his death, June 1, 1978. Upon
investigation, we discovered that approximately $35,000.00 had
been paid to Mr. Eddy's "housekeeper." Upon discovering that,
Joyce Keister, the Executrix of the Estate, brought an action
in equity against the housekeeper to attempt to make the house-
keeper account for the amount of money which she obtained from
Mr. Eddy and to set aside those transfers. The matter is still
in litigation.
The matter has been scheduled for final hearing in January
of 1980. Hopefully, we will be able to conclude the equity
proceedings at that time and will shortly thereafter be in a

position to conclude the Estate. We will keep you advised as
to our progress in this matter.
