PETITION FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF
A GUARDIAN
TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF THE SAID COURT:
The Petition of Robert W. Roland, Jr., Christina
Ann Roland and David G. Roland, all minors under the age of
14, by Andrea Roland, their mother and natural guardian,
respectfully states:
1. Robert W. Roland, Jr., a minor under the age
of 14, was born June 6, 1964, Christina Ann Roland, a minor
under the age of 14, was born May 20, 1966, and David G.
Roland, a minor under the age of 14, was born October 1, 1967,
and all three minors reside at 607 Magaro Road, Enola, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, 17025 with Andrea Roland, their mother.
2. The said minors are the children of Robert W.
Roland, Sr., Deceased as of April 6, 1978 and Andrea Roland,
their mother with whom they reside.
3. The consent of Andrea Roland, mother of the three
minors, is attached to this Petition.
4. It is necessary that a guardian of the estate of
the three minor children be appointed for the reason that their
father, Robert W. Roland, Sr., died intestate on April 6, 1978,
leaving as his sole heirs at law, the said three minor children.
The father and the mother had previously been divorced. The
minors are entitled to substantial legacies from their deceased

father's estate, who died April 6, 1978, a resident of Cumberland
County.
5. The proposed guardian, COMMONWEALTH NATIONAL BANK,
is a banking institution authorized to act as a fiduciary within
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has its main office at
10 South Market Square, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
6. The proposed guardian has no interest adverse to
that of the minors. The proposed guardian is the Administrator
of the Estate of Robert W. Roland, Sr., Deceased.
7. The estate of the minors consist of real estate
situate at 607 Magaro Road, Enola, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania
(East pennsboro Township), approximate value $40,000.00, personal
property, including cash, bank accounts, household goods,
approximate value, $25,000.00.
8. The minors are the beneficial owners of a potential
wrongful death action against defendants unknown at this time,
which action arises from the death of their father, Robert W.
Roland, Sr., at Hershey, Derry Township, Dauphin County, Pennsyl-
vania on April 6, 1978.
9. The consent of Commonwealth National Bank to act
as guardian is attached hereto.
WHEREFORE, your Petitioners, Robert W. Roland, Jr.,
Christina Ann Roland and David G. Roland, minors under 14 years
of age, by Andrea Roland, their mother, pray the Court to appoint
Commonwealth National Bank guardian of the said minors' estate
under the provisions of Section 5111 of the Probate, Estates
and Fiduciaries Code.
