IN RE: OBJECTIONS TO THE SECOND AND FINAL ACCOUNT
OF THE COMMONWEALTH NATIONAL BANK, GUARDIAN OF THE
ESTATE OF DAVID G. ROLAND, A MINOR
BEFORE SHEELY, P.J.
MEMORANDUM
The court held a conference today with counsel for the
bank and counsel for the objectant to the above account. The
issue involves assertion of a Workmen's Compensation claim of
subrogation against the funds proposed to be awarded to David G.
Roland on the account.
An action was filed in Dauphin County by the objecting
party, Pennsylvania Manufacturers Assn., against the bank in
1985, which will determine the same issue which this court would
have to decide in the objection filed to the account.
The court will give counsel thirty (30) days from today
to attempt to resolve the objection filed in this court. Counsel
are directed to notify the court at the expiration of said period
as to the status of the negotiations and the court will schedule
another conference at that time with counsel.
