Hartman and Annie C. Finkenbinder are hereby appointed Guardians of the Estate. BY THE COURT, J. IN RE: DEWRES JEAN HARTMAN AN ALLEGED INCOMPETENT IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ORPHANS' COURT DIVISION ORPHANS' 1978 PETITION TO ADJUDICATE INCOMPETENCY AND APPOINTMENT OF A GUARDIAN OF THE ESTATE TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF THE SAID COURT: 1. The Petitioner, Alice Z. Creager, is Director of Cumberland County Children's Services, 50 West High Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. 2. By Order of the Court of Quarter Sessions Court of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania setting as a Juvenile Court by proceedings filed to No. 33, May Term 1966, dated ApJei1 21, 1966, Delores Jean Hartman was placed in the care and custody of Cumberland County Children's Services. 3. The said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent, was born October 2, 1956; is single and resides in the foster home of Mrs. Robert Hull, R.D. #7, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She has resided in Mrs. Hull's home since the date of placement with the Agency on April 21, 1966. 4. The parents of the said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent, are deceased. 5. The next of kin of the said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent, are three brothers as follows: Harvey F. Hartman 334 Bosler Avenue Lemoyne, Pennsylvania Donald L. Hartman R.D. #2 Lot 104 Shermansda1e, Pennsylvania Kenneth E. Hartman, Sr. 104 South Frederick Street Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 6. The gross value of the Estate of the said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged J~ncompetent, is the sum of $5,435.33, which are funds conserved from Social Security, Veterans Administration and Civil Service Annuity Benefits. The funds are conserved in a savings account at Carlisle Building and Loan Association, 17 West High Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. ~:;0~ 105 pr:: 18 7. The said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent, is not now, nor ever has been a member of the Armed Forces of the United States; however, she receives a monthly Veterans Administration Pension in the amount of $61.00 and monthly Social Security Disability Insurance in the amount of $114.60. 8. The said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent, because of mental retardation, is unable to manage her property and is liable to dissipate such assets and become the victim of des!gning persons. 9. The proposed guardian for the said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent, are as follows: Harvey F. Hartman, a brother of 334 Bosler Avenue, Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Annie C. Finkenbinder, a Paternal Aunt, of 121 East Factory Street, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. 10. The proposed guardians have no interest adverse to the said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent. 11. No other Court has ever assumed jurisdiction in any proceedings to determine the competency of the said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent. 12. The said Delores Jean Hartman, an alleged incompetent, has no guardian already appointed. WHEREFORE, the Said Petitioner prays that the Court order a citation to issue directing the alleged incompetent to show cause why she should not be adjudged incompetent and a Guardian of her Estate be appointed, with notice also directed to the next of kin set forth in Paragraph Number 5 of this Petition. Further, the Petitioner prays that aEter hearing and a finding of incompetency, the Court appoint Harvey F. Hartman and Mrs. Annie C.
