KEEFE, : REGISTER OF WILLS OF : CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYL VANIA : NO. 169 of 2005 MOTION TO MAKE RULE ABSOLUTE AND NOW, comes Petitioner, Mary Anne Beattie, Administratrix of the Estate of Eugene L. Keefe, by and through her counsel, Mark A. Mateya, Esquire and respectfully represents: 1. The decedent, Eugene Lawrence Keefe, died intestate on November 20, 2004. 2. A formal accounting was filed with this Honorable Court on May 18, 2007. r;_~? ~-'-') 3. An Order of Court was issued on June 19, 2007, confirming the~unting:1h ., J ..." ~- (-) rr-, ':.,'--- co accordance with the proposed schedule of distribution.> r-;-, N N 4. 1 ' J' r:::5 After the filing of the Accounting and the aforementioned Order entered , ~(;was \.D -n :::J:: learned that the decedent's mother, Emelia C. Keefe, personally paid for the decedent's funeral bill and has not been reimbursed in the amount of$7,805.00. 5. Petitioner filed a Petition for an Amended Order on or about October 24,2007 and a Rule to Show Cause was issued by this Honorable Court on October 25, 2007 with the Rule returnable thirty (30) days after service. 6. Said Rule was served upon the creditors filing claims and all other interested parties on October 29, 2007, as evidenced by the Proof of Service filed to the above term and number on November 1,2007. 7. The last day to respond to the Rule was November 29,2007. 8. No response to the Rule was filed. WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that this Honorable Court issue an Order amending the Order to allow reimbursement of the decedent's funeral expense to Emelia C.
