To the Register of Wills,
This law firm represents Joseph E. Libertz, Jr., Executor of the above referenced
Decedent's Estate.
Mr. Libertz received a letter dated February 15, 2008 from the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania- Department of Revenue concerning his failure to file a timely inheritance tax
return. Mr. Libertz has asked me to inform you as to the status of this matter.
The Estate is involved in litigation and a return cannot yet be filed. Under cover of a
letter from me dated December 14, 2007, we made a preliminary partial payment in the amount
of $2,500.00 toward the Estate's Inheritance tax obligation. We anticipate that the litigation will
be concluded very soon, or will, at least, be sufficiently clarified, so that we can file a final
return.
