MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR (CURB) (SIDEWALK) REPAIRS
The Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, hereby files its claim
against Michael & Denise Godfrey and all that certain lot or piece of ground situated in
the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being known as 330
Mooreland Avenue and having thereon erected a house. (See property description
attached.)
For Curb and sidewalk repairs for 330 Mooreland Avenue together with an
additional ten percent (10%) and $90.00 solicitor filing fee for a total of $ 513.20,
together with court filing costs and interest sec. leg. from July 15, 2003, the date
of completion of the work.
Prior notice in accordance with law was served upon the owner by first class United
States certified mail, postage prepaid, at the owner's address at 330 Mooreland Avenue
in Carlisle, PA on November 22, 2003. The said services were provided by the
Borough of Carlisle and the charge levied therefor in strict accordance with Article XVlll
of the Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, P.L. 1655 (1965), No. 581, Section 1801
et. seq., 53 P.S. Section 46801 et seq., Ordinance 145-C, Article II of Chapter 120,
and/or Article V of Chapter 223 of the Code of the Borough of Carlisle.

MADE THE 22 day of May, in the year of our Lord Two Thousand One (2001)
BETWEEN
PATRICIA L. FECKO, single person, of Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, hereinafter
(Grantor)
and
MICHAEL GODFREY AND DENISE S. GODFREY, husband and
wife, at Cumberland County, Pennsylvania hereinafter
(Grantees)
WITNESSETH, that in consideration of One Hundred Eighty ~ Thousand. Nine
Hundred Dollars and 00/100 ($18,i, 000.00) in hand paid, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, the said grantor does hereby grant and convey to the
said grantees, their heirs and assigns as tenants by the entireties.
ALL that certain tract of land with improvements thereon erected, situate in the
Borough af Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the West side of Mooreland Avenue, 80 feet South of
the southwest Intersection of Mooreland Avenue and Walnut Streets; thence in a
westerly direction along other lands of the Grantor, 120 feet, more or less, to the
line of property now or formerly of Samuel D, Greason; thence in a southerly
direction along the line of said Greasan properly 79 feet, more or less, to the
northern line of a 16 foot wide alley; thence along the northern line of said alley
120 feet, more ar less, ta the western line of Mooreland Avenue; thence in a
northwardly direction along the western line of Mooreland Avenue 79 feet, more
or less, the place af BEGINNING. Improved with a two and one-half story brick
dwelling house known as 330 Maoreland Avenue, Carlisle.
TOGETHER with, the right to maintain an ouffall sewer pipe as now laid across the
adjacent lot to Walnut Street, with the right to enter upon said adjacent lot to
make any necessary repairs or replacement of said sewer pipe without damage
to said adjacent lot.
BEING the same premises which John S. Fecko and June E. Feoko, husband and
wife, by Deed dated January 19, 1993, which Deed is recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of Deeds in and for Cumberland County in deed Book 36-C, Page
268, granted and conveyed to James J. Fecko and Patricia L. Fecko, husband
and wile. The said James J. Fecko departed this life on December 24, 2000,
thereby vesting title in Patricia L. Fecko.
AND the said Grantor hereby covenants and agrees that they will warrant
specially the praperh/hereby conveyed.
