ANNUAL AND FINAL REPORT OF NELSON L. BEARD. GUARDIAN OF THE
ESTATE AND PERSON OF SARAH J. MATTER
As of February 5, 2008
1. Nelson L. Beard (Guardian) was guardian of the
estate and person of Sarah J. Matter, an incapacitated
person, until Sarah J. Matter died on February 5, 2008.
Guardian was appointed guardian by Order of the Court dated
January 5, 2007, which has not been modified.
2. At the time of her death, Sarah J. Matter was 80
years old and resided at Bethany Village, a long-term care
skilled nursing facility located at 5225 Wilson Lane,
Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
3. The following is the final invenetory of the
principal of the Estate of Sarah J. Matter, as of the date
of her death on February 5, 2008:

4. As of the date of Sarah J. Matter's death, her
sources of income were monthly Social Security payments, a
Verizon pension, and earnings from the investments set forth
in the Inventory. Sarah J. Matter's Social Security
payments and Verizon pension checks were deposited directly
into the guardianship checking account.
5. During the period of guardianship, the initial
balance of the checking account, $88,476.64, together with
income from all sources and sale of assets, $82,266.44,
produced a total of $170,743.08. Total expenses during the
period of guardianship amounted to $150,525.79, leaving a
balance in the checking account of $20,217.29.
6. On February 13, 2008, Letters Testamentary in the
Estate of Sarah J. Matter were issued to John D. Killian,
Executor.
