Pursuant to Title I8, United States Code, Section 3613(c), a criminal fine or an order to pay restitution imposed pursuant to the provisions of Subchapter C of Chapter 227, Subchapter B of Chapter 229, and/or Chapter 212, Title 18, United States Code constitutes a lien in favor of the United States upon all property belonging to the person fined or ordered to pay restitution. This lien in favor of the United States against the property of the defendant may or may not attach to the property identified below as being the defendant's address depending on whether or not the defendant has any ownership interest in such property. Pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 3613 (d) this notice of lien shall be considered a notice of lien for taxes for the purpose of any state or local law providing for the filing of a tax lien. This lien arose at the time of the entry of Judgment against the defendant, and continues until the fine or restitu- tion liability is satisfied, remitted or set aside, or until the liability becomes unenforceable pursuant to 18 U;S.C. 3613(b).
