RE: AGREEMENT AND PLAN OF MERGER OF THE
ARMY WAR COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC. And the
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF THE U. S. ARMY WAR COLLEGE
To the Court Administrator:
We filed the above referenced Motion for approval of merger of two charitable entities.
The Motion was filed in accordance with Orphans' Court Rule 5.5. The merger is
supposed to be effective, in accordance with their Agreement, on July 31, 2008. I would
appreciate it if I could have a hearing date before a Judge prior to that time. I do not
expect this to be a long hearing. An hour should be sufficient. I would appreciate it if
you could coordinate an appropriate time and date through my office.
I will need to give the Attorney General's Office fifteen days notice once the hearing is
sch~uled. Please advise if you have any questions concerning this request.
