Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
I represent the Estate of Dorothy F. McDowell. Enclosed is
a check made payable to the Register of Wills, Agent in the
amount of $9,391.68, same constituting a prepayment at discount
on account of Pennsylvania inheritance taxes in the above-
captioned estate. The prepayment is determined as follows:
$200,182.88 multiplied by 4.5~ or $9,008.23, less discount in the
amount of 50 or $450.41, resulting in payment of $8,557.82, plus
$5,851.66 multiplied by 15~ _ $877.75, less discount in the
amount of 5~ or $43.89, resulting in payment of $833.86. The two
(2) payments of $8,557.82 and $833.86 result in a total payment
of $9,391.68. Please provide me with the appropriate receipt in
this matter.
