The Cumberland Valley School District is aduly-organized and constituted school district of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, located in the County of Cumberland, being comprised of the Townships of Hampden (a first class township), Silver Spring, Middlesex, and Monroe (second class townships). 2. Cumberland Valley School District is desirous and in need of School Police Officers to act as policemen for the school district. 3. The School Police Officers with authority to enforce good order pursuant to the authority of Section 778(c)(1) of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, seeking appointment at the request of the Cumberland Valley School District are listed and set forth in the document identified as "Exhibit A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. B. The School Police Officers with authority to enforce good order pursuant to the authority of Section 778(c)(1) of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, and to issue summary citations or to detain individuals until local law enforcement is notified pursuant to the authority of Section 778(c)(3) of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended, seeking appointment at the request of the Cumberland Valley School District are listed and set forth in the document identified as "Exhibit B", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. WHEREFORE, Cumberland Valley School District respectfully prays this Honorable Court appoint the above-named persons as School Police Officers for the Cumberland Valley School District with the powers, duties and responsibilities, as set forth above, to act as policemen for said school district in accordance with the Public School Code of 1949, as amended.
