AND NOW, this 9th day of July, 2008, upon
consideration of the Petition under Section 5513 of the
Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code for Appointment of
Emergency Guardian of the Person and To Adjudge Marian
Crowell To Be Incapacitated, and following an emergency
hearing held on this date, and the Court finding that the
ability of the alleged incapacitated person, Marian Crowell,
to receive and evaluate information effectively and
communicate decisions in any way is impaired to such a
significant extent that she is at this time totally unable
to meet essential requirements for her physical health and
safety, and that the allegedly-incapacitated person is in
need of a guardian of the person for purposes of making
certain medical decisions, and that a failure to make such
an appointment will result in irreparable harm to the
person, it is ordered and directed as follows:
1. The allegedly-incapacitated person,
Marian Crowell, is adjudicated incapacitated on an emergency
basis;
2. The Pennsylvania Guardian Association
located at P.O. Box 7295, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 17604, is
appointed emergency temporary guardian of the person of
Marian Crowell for the limited purpose of making decisions
necessary for her medical care;
3. No bond shall be required of the
guardian;
4. The term of this emergency temporary
guardianship shall be limited in accordance with
Section 5513 of the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code.
