the use of the surviving spouse is three (3) percent [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.1) (i)].
For dates of death on or after January 1, 1995, the tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the surviving spouse is
zero (0) percent [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.1) (ii)]. The statute does not exempt a transfer to a surviving spouse from tax, and the statutory
requirements for disclosure of assets and filing a tax return are still applicable even if the surviving spouse is the only beneficiary.

The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers from a deceased child twenty-one years of age or younger at de~3th to or for

The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's siblings is twelve (12) percent [72 P.S. §9116(a)(1.3)]. Asibling
is defined, under Section 9102, as an individual who has at least one parent in common with the decedent, whether by blood or adoption.

I, Edith M. Waldemar, of the Borough of Carlisle, (9 Alliance Drive, Apt. 105),
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and
understanding, do hereby make, publish and declare this as and for my Last Will and
Testament, hereby revoking and making void any and all Wills and Codicils heretofore
made. _
FIRST
I direct the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses as soon after my
death as may be convenient.
I direct that all federal and Pennsylvania estate taxes, Pennsylvania inheritance
taxes, and generation-skipping transfer tax payable as a result of my death, not limited
to taxes, attributable to property passing under this Will, shall be paid by my Executor
from my residuary estate. I direct my Executor not to seek reimbursement for any tax
so paid from any beneficiary under this Will, heir of mine, or other transferee of
property included in my gross estate.
SECOND
I declare that I was never married and that I have no children.
THIRD
I give and bequeath all of my tangible personal property of every kind and
description, including, but not limited to, books, pictures, clothing, articles of
household or personal use or adornment, household furnishings and effects, and
automotive vehicles and their accessories, but excluding any money, evidences of
indebtedness, documents of title, and securities and property used in connection with
the operation of any trade or business, to my nieces and nephews, to be divided
substantially equally (in monetary value) between them, as they shall agree and
decide, provided, however, that in the event they fail to agree and decide on such
d division, then in substantially equal (in monetary value) shares as my hereinafter
~~ named Executor shall, in his or her sole discretion, decide. Any of such tangible
personal property not distributed to a niece or nephew because none desires the

FIFTH
I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my nephew Kenneth D. Waldemar of
108 Cherry Street, Katonah, N.Y. 10536 as Executor of this my Last Will and
Testament. In the event of the renunciation, death, resignation or inability to act for any
reason whatsoever of my said nephew Kenneth D. Waldemar, I nominate, constitute
and appoint my niece Evelyn A. Knight of 575 Highway 107, Jonesborough, IN 37659,
as Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament. In the event of the renunciation,
death, resignation or inability t9 act for any reason whatsoever of both my said
nephew Kenneth D. Waldemar, and my said niece Evelyn A. Knight, I nominate,
constitute and appoint my niece Jeanette W. Long of 1165 Brookside Drive, Franklin,
IN 37064, as Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament. I further direct that no bond
or other security shall be required of any Executor or Executrix appointed in this Will for
the performance of his, her or its duties in any jurisdiction in which he, she or it may
be called upon to act. The terms Executor or Executrix may be used interchangeably
in this Will and shall refer to any Executor or Executrix appointed in this will, or any
other Administrator appointed by a court of competent jurisdiction.
SIXTH
In addition to, and not in limitation of, the powers conferred by law or by other
provisions of this Will, my Executor shall have the following powers, each of which
may be exercised from time to time by my Executor in his sole discretion:
(a) To retain in the form received, and to sell either at public or private sale,
or to distribute in kind, any real or personal property.
(b) To manage both real and personal property.
(c) To invest and reinvest in all forms of property, notwithstanding the fact
that any or all of the investments made are of a character or size which
but for this expressed authority would not be considered proper for an
Executor.
(d) To exercise any option or rights arising from the ownership of
investments.
(e) To compromise claims without court approval and without the consent of
any beneficiary.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal to this my Last
Will and Testament, written on three (3) pages (including notary page), this 19th day of
May, 2000.

Contents of Box marked #2: (Estimated monetary value of $100.00 for two rings, plus the value
of the model stair case. There are a number of items of family interest included in the box.)
1 model circular stair case designated on the bottom to belong to John Wildle. The
structure is about 12 inches in height and marked with a brass plate that it ~Nas hand
crafted by Harry Waldemar in 1980. Because many factors can effect the v~ilue of the
piece, no estimate of monetary value can be realistically given.

An oil painting of a sailing ship (a barque) under full sail. The painting is about 13" x 17". The name
'Ryvingen' is painted on the bottom left hand corner. It is signed R. S. 82on the lower right hand corner,

A photograph of the four children of Ingeborg and Samuel Waldemar wha survived to be adults. It is
framed in an oval shaped wood that is painted gold. The photograph is about 12" x 18". While no
monetary value is assigned to the piece, it is of value to the family.
Oil painting of the house where Samuel Waldemar was born in Norway. It is about 15" x 19" and framed
in dark wood. There is some damage. It is of value to the family.
A large coffee table type book, Norman Rockwell Artist and Illustrator, by Thomas S. Buechler,
